latest version crashes when changing albums

Issue with latest version :  When changing between tracks in different albums, the program crashes. It is necessary to stop current playback before playing track from different album, to avoid crash. Also impossible to add cover art from file on desktop. Also impossible to change incorrect name of Album or if it comes up "unasigned" or "Unknown Artist".

MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. 6Gb. 10.6.8 because it is the most stable with this Mac.
