I'm trying to build a smart list that will list the top XX (let's say 20) songs per genre for all genres in my library (with a few genre's thrown out as exceptions).  Using the smartlist builder I see that I could potentially list each genre individually but it won't quite get there.  The stock rules helped a little, but can't put the string together.  is there a way to say all genre's with the exception of a few?  Do I have to list them individually?

Anybody have an idea on this or somebody have something already built that's similar you can post?  Thanks!

Without any rule, all genres will be included, so you should only need to add the exclusion. Probably best to get them out of the way as early as possible in the rule set.

Using the wizard, Genre | Is not any | use the drop list to tick the ones you want to exclude.
