Using 19.0.114
While using category views, sorting files like in the image below does nothing.



In order to sort files you have to use 'Customize View'-->'Set rules for file display' like shown in the image below.




I believe the two different places you can change sorting options, that i have shown above, are supposed to be connected.
ie change sorting in one spot and the changes will be reflected in the other.
It works like this when sorting in pane views like in the images below.
