Renaming Playlists via Library Server connection

I use Media Center as a client almost exclusively now.  My HTPC is direct (the server) but the majority of my use is on either of my laptops, both of which connect.  I notice that playlists do not rename or delete nor do column headers or other MC type data update.  It is terrific that tags sync back but could this other MC data sync back as well?  I always end up with duplicate playlists, new and old, and have to login to my server to remove the duplicates.  The more one-to-one client/library the better, in my opinion.
