Copy and convert function
« on: November 11, 2013, 07:09:34 pm »

I'm looking to store a copy of my music library in mp3 format on an external disk.  I want to convert any non-mp3 files to mp3 at the same time and avoid duplicates of albums that I already have mp3 and flac versions of.  Is there a way to do this in a single step?

Use the Handheld Sync to a folder on the HD.  Set conversion options to convert all non-mp3 files to mp3.

How can I make it see the HD as a handheld?  It doesn't register currently

Go to the Handheld manager (Tools > Options > Handheld) and under Device management, select Add device, and set the device to a folder on the drive or the drive itself.
