Library Backup - frequency?
« on: November 23, 2013, 03:09:46 pm »

I know MC does an automatic backup - but how often.
How come it seems to miss out the occasional day here and there.

More importantly, how can I specify the backup frequency?
Thanks,

Its about every 3 days or so, and is opportunistic.  There is no setting for the frequency.

You can use the MC Core Command  20011  MCC_BACKUP_LIBRARY to force backups on command.

Some relevant backup changes:
Quote

19.0.25 (8/12/2013)
3. SDK: The MC command MCC_BACKUP_LIBRARY (20011) will perform a silent automatic backup when passed "1" as the parameter.
4. Changed: The program will run the automatic library code periodically instead of only at program start (so that running the program for long periods won't stop automatic backups from happening).
