Moved from Mac 18 to 19 - Where's 18's Playlists?

I'm probably missing something that's simple. 

I installed 19 for Mac and did a:  File/Library/Import/Import Single Folder to create 19's new Library.  This was the same command I used in 18 to create its Library.  And in both 18 and 19 the "Import Single Folder" command pointed to the root of my external hard drive (ie. no change was made as far as path was concerned).  I assumed that the Playlists I created in 18 would by found by 19 when doing this, but I don't see any of 18's Playlists in 19.  Would I need to do a Playlist Export in 18 and then an import in 19 for the Playlists to be transferred/be seen?
