I got a fabulous Mytec DAC DSD 192.
Before I used It on a Win PC and I was able to read 128 DSD files with DOP.
And now I bought a Mac mini...ans also JRiver for mac and and can not play 128 DSD and 64 DSD files are read with DOP!.

dff files are not supported?
dsf are only read with the core with dop method?

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Jacques

Yes, DFF and DSD are handled via DOP to Core Audio on Mac.  Of course the DAC ends up with the exact same DSD audio data whether using DSD bitstreaming with ASIO on Windows or via DOP to Core Audio.

Zsolt Andrasy:
I also checked my Diagnostic Report folder: there is no today log, only earlier and not related to MC.
/logs/CrashReporter is empty..
But meantime my MC19 froze again in the background, during I used Safari.
Music is goes on, control is dead.

Best Regard,
Zsolt

I am using the Mytec Maste 192 DAC with dsd (64 & 128) files native without any problems. However I much prefer the cheap trick "TEAC UD501" for bitstream audio.

hi
I contact mytec support and they tell me dsd files are only with dop ..like also ud501 i think.
Last month I try the UD501...and I much prefer the DSD192 Mytec.

I contact Mytec support and they tell me that they are working on a new firmware and a new USB drivers supporting 64 and 128 DSD files but only in DOP.

But you have to keep doing this in order to see what you are doing. Here is are some logs. The Previous log is the one that crashed.
