Last.fm scrobbling

Why am I getting a pop up every new song asking for permission to access my last.fm account when I try to scrobble via JRiver? It doesn't appear that any songs are actually getting scrobbled even though I hit the "allow access" button everytime. It seems to not be remembering anything. Is there something special I have to do to scrobble via JRiver Media Center on my imac? Please help. I am new and am using the 30-day trial version right now.

The "allow access" message may be coming from your firewall.
