192kHz via USB from Mac

I have heard that some SW players for the Mac support sending 192kHz through USB (to a DAC), even though the Mac does not support 192 through the "headphone" TOSlink.  Will Media Player send a 192 FLAC file to through the Mac's USB at 192 to a DAC?

freddie40:
I send 192 via USB to my QB9.  Only Toslink is limited to 96.

Thanks!  How?  I am new to Media Center, and completely lost.  (Maybe just knowing it can be done will help me get there.)

fstanke:
OK, with MC19 on my MacBook Pro I did Tools/Audio Device/Options/Bryston BDA-2 (which is the unit I had connected to the MacBook).  The Bryston showed green on USB1 192K0 Lock USB6: it looked like it was getting a valid signal, but nothing came out of the audio jacks.  Why?  Also, I tried both "Volume disabled" and Volume at max in MC.  Why did I not get sound?

AudiodoctorCA:
How did you have the Bryston connected to the mac?
