Cover Art acting strange (compared to MC17)
« on: November 28, 2013, 05:36:39 am »

Yes, today I made the switch to MC19. The only thing I need is a better Gizmo/MC combo and so far this looks great.
However when I took my latest backup from MC17 and restored that in MC19 I noticed that my cover art had different sizes.

After testing I found out that when "media sub type" is "TV Show" I get a different width/height than when sub type is "Movie".
I made all of my folder.jpg 300x430 pixel. (When I take a print screen of a thumb with a "movie" sub type I get an image that would be 300x460 pixel. (when I enlarge to 300 pixels wide from the thumb taken from the screen). In this case it show less of the sides.

Are there other/new options to control this? Should I delete the subtype so I get them like I had them in MC17?

Thanks for your help.

Does disabling Tools > Options > Tree & View > Thumbnails > Standardize aspect ratios help?

Yes, that helps me! I checked and indeed this option is new to me and wasn't in MC17. Aspect ratio is now 300x430 again.

Thank you very much,
