Can I make one of my zones the default?
« on: November 30, 2013, 12:42:25 pm »

I searched on "Zone" and "Zones" and was surprised not to find this question already asked.

Each morning when I boot my PC and open MC19, the "Player" zone is always set. I have to remember to reset it to my DLNA Player, and don't always remember until I hear no sound (because my Player Zone's speakers have not been turned on). Is there a way to tell MC that it should always assume a specific zone until told otherwise?

Thanks,
John

hi .
i dont know the answer directly , but in my case i have 2 frequently used zones 1 for audio , and 1 for 5.1 and zone switching rules take
care of the rest. Not sure if this helps.

It was recently discussed in a similar context which might give you a hint on how to handle it:
