>>>>>>>MHorton - How long does it stay up?
it varies, but I'm coming to terms with it. The problem started right after Raymond fixed the other typo that wouldn't allow me to log in, so what--its been happening maybe 4 days (
http://music01.com/cgi-bin/interact/neoBoard.pl?Action=ShowPost&Board=interact&Post=550&BoardIdle=60&SortingBy=0&BoardOrder=Descend&Page=0&UserSession=). Sometimes its up for an hour to two, sometimes longer. But I've noticed that on occassion, someone will start to stream a song, then suddenly the info in the main screen area (where time, file name, file size, etc is displayed in the Music01 program) will kind of flicker on and off, and then poof! . . . the server she isa no more. I've witnessed that at least 3 times, but afterward there is no record of the straeming incident in the statistics info page. So, I think that this is probably what is happening when I leave the computer and return to find that the Music01 server is no longer running. Only a guess. KingSparta displayed the status messages, but I can't do that because I don't just get booted off the server--the Music01 program itself closes (no more friendly, comforting little icon pal in the taskbar tray).
>>>>>>>>Also I Clicked On "Time" header in the Music01 Server, Music01 Crashed.
yup
file name too. Click on file size--the program gets angry and says "I'm outta here." I'm guessing that we can safely assume that the other headers will follow the same pattern. But, here's the thing--I wonder if, on those occassions in the above paragraph, if I didn't adjust these headers to see who was streaming what, thereby crashing the program. Doesn't explain the other types of crashes though, when its up for 2-8 hours and then goes kaput when I'm not around. Unless . . . .
