Hello,

Can you guys point me to the thread regarding sidecar files residing in seperate drive other than NAS ?

Currently, I have the sidecar files filed together with media files in NAS (Synology DS413j).

I read somewhere that I can access the library database faster if I stored the sidecar files on a PC HDD.  Is this true ?

Thanks.

If the answer to this has been posted, I've missed it too.

Watching with interest.

This subject (including variations on the theme) has been raised a couple of times before in the past:

Possibly too hard or a development item that doesn't have sufficient user interest to reach critical mass...    ?

Thanks.

Seems quite complicated.

Have to research further.
