New to forum guys. Preparing to enter the hi-Rez audio-file arena. Aside from the DSD/PCM/DOP discussion, is there enough room to pause a download in OSX ?

More simply, does the server computer (Mini) act as a streamer with separate software from IOS devices used as controls ? Does JR do file conversions "on the fly"(ram buffered?) from other lossless or compressed formats, or does an entire (ITunes) library get reformatted and stored differently ?
