I've been using MC19 to push audio to a Naim Media Player for over a month, and all has been working perfectly. I set the "zone" to the Media Player, select an album, either double click on the album name or hit the Play button, and I hear the whole album played. Suddenly today, when I do what I've always done to play an album, MC pushes the first song of the album and then stops.

The status information at the top says "Waiting" both during the playback of that first track and afterwards. Any attempt to play another song has no result. I've found that if I click on the Stop button (with the square symbol to the right of the Play button) I can get another song to play, but only 1 song until I hit the Stop button again. Also, the blue progress indicator near the top of the MC window shows nothing.

Have I gotten MC19 into a state by selecting or pressing something by accident? Or is my media player causing this? (I never touch the media player at the other end of the Ethernet cable; it's on all the time and I never interact with it directly.)

I'm running under Windows 8.1 with almost 2000 ripped CDs on an external USB 3.0 drive.

you are playing it in standard view, right?

could it be that the 'repeat' button (besides the shuffle and dsp buttons) got set to 'stop after each item'?

No, the Repeat button is set to Repeat Off. When I click on that button, I see a drop-down list of 4 options and the Stop After Each Item is NOT checked.

I was able to make the problematic behavior go away by powering the Naim Media Player off and, after 30 seconds, back on. So maybe there was some sort of handshaking glitch.

While I no longer need an answer on how to make the system work again, it would be nice to know exactly what the indication "Waiting" means (beside the obvious).
