Does your midi controller come with software/drivers that let you run external programs in response to midi messages?  Then you could use the command line controls for MC ("MC19.exe /Stop", etc.).

hi , i just bought a electirx tweaker ..   really great controller ...

it outputs / receives   note/cc midi commands  and integrates well with traktor for example

i also managed to control my    RME Fireface UC    TotalMix software (my audio interface) through it for example to   "dim"   and control the main (asio based) outputs ..

However ..... it would be great if i could    control the jriver "deck"    from this controller .... so that i really can pause the    playing song ... or scroll through the list just like you can do in traktor .

So .....  are there ANY plans to add  midi controls to JRiver MediCenter ?

btw .. i will try to find a "proxy" piece of software that can act upon cc/note midi commands and create command line jriver commands from there  .. however  a direct interface would be really great !!!!

any hints / tips are welcome

regards koen
