In Options, General, Features, please include a checkbox for Performer Store. So that the user can disable and hide this feature.

You can do that in options under Services.

You can use Options > Services > Stores Shown in the Tree and disable Performer Store.  

As a tip, if you don't know where to look in Options, you can use the search bar at the bottom.

What I do find is Performer Media Centre, and uncheckmarking that hides the Performer Store. Thanks M.

Devs, to my original request, I hereby add: change the option name Performer Media Centre to accord with the feature name Performer Store . Thanks.
