Hi,

I have work & home desktop systems, along with work & home laptop systems. Is it possible to install JRiver MediaCenter on all 4 systems with the purchase of one license? This will basically be the deciding factor in whether or not I buy the player after the trial finishes in a few days. I hope this wouldn't be a problem.

You can install MC on all your systems "within reason" with just one license. Home PC, Work PC and Laptops are perfectly fine to use with one license.

It is basically an honor system (with the activation scheme designed to prevent the most egregious cases).  The way I do it, personally, is this:

1. I have my "personal" license, which I use for my home server, HTPC, and my "work" laptop.
2. I have a separate "work" license, which I use on some systems at the office.

I got the second license because I'm using MC for completely different purposes in these cases (work-related, rather than home-entertainment-related), so I thought that was only fair.  My laptop gets used for both, so it didn't really matter which I used there.
