NO metadata showing when pushing to BD Player (Cambridge Audio)
« on: February 06, 2014, 03:41:44 pm »

Just bought a Cambridge Audio BD752BD and installed JRiver.
Finally have it set up so that if I connect via the BD player I get access to my files which are in FLAC format
Meta data info such as album cover, title, year etc show up on TV screen. File type is shown as FLAC. All good so far.

However if I play a song from JRiver on the PC and select the BD as the zone, I hear the song but no meta data displays at all.

I would have thought that pushing should have the same result as pulling from the BD ie the FLAC file is sent and read by the BD?

Is JRiver sending in FLAC or converting into another format for some reason ?
Any help would be most welcome. Cheers

Steve D

Set up is simple.

FLAC files on windows 8 PC
Wireless network
CA BD752 blue Ray Player
Connected to Sony HD TV and Arcam AVR300 receiver.
