Error message for Radio
« on: February 21, 2002, 04:17:42 pm »

Just loaded Jukebox.  Under TV & Radio I select a genre of music, select a station and using the right mouse button select PLAY.  It appears as if the radio is buffering and then I receive the erroe message: "Cannot open.  Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again.  More Info: None."  Nowhere in help, FAQ, etc. can I find any clarification or instructions to fix this "error".  If I switch to REAL I receive the internet radio stations fine.

Assistance would be appreciated.  System is Win ME, cable, 200|PLS| ram.

I've found some dead links in the listings.

Navigate to the station site in yr browser. Check site and streaming URLs );in RealAudio [yechhh], you'll find the station URL in a horizontal window towards the top of the player). In MJ, open Media View>My Stations (at bottom), click on 'Add a Station', then cut and paste target station's URLs into apporpriate box, and load. This shld add the station listing with the corrected data to your own listings. It will also submit the data to MJ, but since they screen out duplicative listings, don't know what they'll do with it. Haven't found a way to submit errata to MJ on their station data base. In any event, yr new listing will appear in yr program whenever you reopen MJ.
