Problem with volume when streaming
« on: February 22, 2014, 10:46:40 am »

I am streaming from my Onkyo CR-N755 via DLNA. Every time a track ends the volume on my hi-fi is reset to minimum meaning I have to up the volume on my remote at the start of every track. Can you please help

Thanks

I'm not sure if you are referring to the volume of MC or your Receiver. If you are referring to MC, I had something similar for very few songs longer time ago. JRiver changed many things within MCs volume handling since then, but perhaps it may help anyway. For me it was connected to the (old) volume protection system (and poorly ripped songs). What helped me (before I re-ripped my files) was lowering the PreAmp in MCs equalizer (DSP-Studio - Equalizer - Very left slider) or deactivating the volume protection.

For me the volume protection was trying to protect my speakers because of a very loud signal at the start of some tracks. I don't know if anything applies to your situation... Good luck :)
