my jriver is streaming mp3
« on: March 01, 2014, 11:25:20 am »

i have bubleupnp on my nexus 10 and i use that as a remote to get my jriver media center on n my laptop to stream my ape and flac files to my sony a/v receiver. all of a sudden i notice they are streaming as mp3 files. i sent my log files to the guys at bubble up who wrote back that the files indicate that "The log shows that JRiver is returning mp3 streams to BubbleUPnP, which then plays them."

How to I get the jriver to stream in lossless again? i went to options/client options (when connected a library server) which is the closest thing i found in the manual but no go it did not help. any ideas. thanks

Tools -> Options -> Media Network -> Add or Configure DLNA servers -> Audio -> Mode

Based on your files, and what your AVR accepts, determine if you can send Original file format or if they need conversion.

If Conversion, set the quality below in Format.
