Cover Art Randomly Not Displaying in Some Library Views
« on: March 20, 2014, 03:25:48 pm »

I occasionally have cases where the cover art is not displaying in some of the different audio library views for random albums.  The problem varies from view to view.  For example, in the album view I may see the cover art for an album, but when I switch to the Artist view the same album only shows the blue note as if there was no cover art.  If I look at the file tag it shows either "Folder.jpg" or "Inside File" as appropriate.  Also, if I right click and select Cover Art\View (first file) it opens the cover art.  In some cases, selecting Cover Art\Quick Find in File fixes the problem, but not always.  The problem is not only restricted to Album and Artist views, I've seen it in other views such as Recent Albums too.

I've seen this on Windows 7 Pro and Home and I'm running MC 19.0.117.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes.  And what's more when you choose 'Get from Internet...', the Cover Art is shown to be in you library.  The fix is to Remove Cover Art and then reselect it in Get From Internet...   I've assumed this is a bug the JRiver folks will fix in time.
