Media Scheduler
« on: February 19, 2002, 02:26:23 pm »

I have a registered "Plus" version of the Jukebox release 7.2.280.  I am not able to select a song or playlist or Web Radio Station when setting the Scheduler startup time.  The editing screen "grays out" the input field which should permit the selection of something to play on scheduled start up.  Can someone tell me what is wrong ?

did you try "Start Custom Task"?

Select "Play A Media File"

you need to put a path to the file in there..

this could be made easyer, where you could click on the command line text box, and it should come up with a file browser for you to select a file, maybe drag and drop also

Media Scheduler that comes with MJ 7|PLS||PLS| does not have Custom Task.

The fields in Media Scheduler are not the options to select a song or playlist. You could set up Media Jukebox by selecting the songs or playlist and put it under Playing Now. Make sure start playing current playlist during startup is checked; the option is under Settings -> Options -> Startup Settings. Or you could use MJ version 8 and use the Custom Task action like King mentioned.
