Can't watch video
« on: April 17, 2014, 11:59:08 am »

Hello,

today i have updated media player with the latest update. After that i wanted to watch a movie, but it says "Adding required components" and the picture on the left of the text stoped to fade in/out. I can't kill the process (Media Center 19.exe*32) and i have to restart my computer to start mediacenter again. But when i do that and i want to watch a movie, the same thing happens. Before this update everything was ok for months! Can somebody please give me any directions?

There are several different possible solutions, see this thread:

Thanks for the tip. I've enabled logging and my antivirus (ESET) asked for some permission, and then the everything started to work. I think the antivirus just asked for permission to write the log to the drive and that might not be the cause why it did not worked before (even if i had to restart my computer several times).
