Bad DLL checking for Media Jukebox 8 update?
« on: February 18, 2002, 01:24:11 pm »

I do a ^J to do a update check and it tells me that there is a new Monkey's Audio DLL, I check it off and it downloads it and overwrites my 3.94 with an older version..  (DOH!)  Pfft!  Stop that! Next Page

Well, the updated version is apparently based on MAC 3.92, which is the latest release version. The 3.94b is in beta. If that's what you lost, I guess I see MJ's point - which is they don't want to be handing off beta plug-ins if there's any open issue with bugs. Any problem with just downloading the 3.94.exe and reinstalling?

True, I can understand not handing out betas, sorta (MJ8 is a beta... Next Page ) but 3.94 is > than 3.92, so I would think it'd just ignore the 3.92 'update'.
