Hi, I recently bought the new Samsung 28" 4K monitor.

I played with madvr settings and tried both setting the monitor mode to 1080 and playing video (1080 content) and also playing video in UHD (3840x2160) mode which madvr presumably will upscale to.

It *seems* to me 1080 mode looks better but wondering what others think?

If anyone else has 4K tips I would love to know!

Your monitor is upscaling the 1080 output to 4k anyway, and generally hardware based upscaling tends to look very good so it doesn't surprise me that it seems to look better.

I'd imagine that upscaling to 4K with quality MadVR upscaling like Jinc3+AR would be extremely demanding GPU wise...which chroma/luma upscaling algorithms were you using in MadVR?
