I was using MJ 7.2 on Win98SE  ... i install Win XP Pro (clean of course)

Re-installed MJB 7.2 and restored license ... as if by magic the MJ window vanishes (uh .. oh). I tried starting it and it pops up and immediately exits.

Next stop was this forum .... I have tried:
Hacking the registry to remove silly characters.
Upgrading to 8.0
.. and of course all of the above with no effect. The application does still not work. I WANT to use this application  --I loved it.
Is there ANY solution to this? Can anyone help.

Hi Radman,

This is strange.
I followed the same path as you : upgraded from W98SE to WINXP-PRO on on new hard disk.
I did not have any problem reinstalling MJ 7.2.280 and restoring my license. The install
of MJ7 was the first think I did (first app I installed) after installing WinXP.
Since then I have upgraded to MJ8 beta, no problems.
There's a lot of folks using MJ on XP so I don't think your problem is related to some
OS/MJ incompatibility.
Maybe your video card / drivers ?
Did XP recognized every piece of your hardware on install ?
