I've been using jemote2 for years with the intel nuc. I just replaced my router and changed the server settings on jremote2. The app finds the server, displays all the metadata, but won't play a selected item. I'd like it to play on 'player', but it won't play on any device that I select. Help!

Usually when this happens the media in the library isn't present/mounted. If you use a NAS you'll have to make sure it's setup correctly for the new router and the mount points and all that. And make sure they're pointed to the right location in MC itself. With a new router a NAS' IP address will change unless you manually set the IP on the NAS or use the DHCP address reservation feature on the router if available.

Quick way to test if the media is accessible is to try playing something on the MC server itself. If it gives an error about not being able to find it, then that's the confirmation of the issue.

I think you are right. When I use Gizmo I get an error message that there's a server error when I try to play an item on android; the id indicates file not found; jremote2 just does nothing. I'm using a NAS plugged into an id and iMac. I think everything works as expected on the iMac; it finds media on the NAS. I have not changed anything on the id; should I? I've changed the Server on jemote2 using the access key.; should I manually change it? I've rebooted everything. What other things should I look into?

If the NAS is connected to the Id and the IP address of the NAS changed after getting a new router, you'll have to change/fix that mount point for the NAS on the Id.
