Burning cd - space problem

Is it normal to have only about 15-20 tracks burned on a 700mb disk?
Those are flac files, but if i understand well, they are converted to mp3.
if it's right, i should be able to burn about 100 files.
Any idea?

maybe what you are thinking of is a data disc that could hold hundreds of mp3 depending on their size...thousands if you were to put them on a dvd....

So if i understand well, you suggest me not to make an 'audio cd' but a 'data cd"? there a bit of a confusion with this naming, my purpose is being audio
In the data cd, the flac will be changed to an mp3, and i'll can read it in an mp3 reader like in a car? That's my aim...
