Gizmo - Clear Playlist and Queue a Single Song
« on: May 19, 2014, 04:52:44 pm »

I'm having a hard time coming up with an elegant way to deal with what shouldn't be an issue....

While using Gizmo, I want to clear the queue and add a single song.
If I browse an album, choose a song, and select "Play" then the entire album is queued up - why???
If I select "Add" then the single song I select is only added to the queue; obviously....

So..... how can I get a single song in the queue (not the entire album) and then use the "Add" option to add more songs to such queue?

I've been frustrated by the same thing. The current Play acts like Play All. I think Play should just play the song you tap.

I would like a Clear Playlist option from the Options menu (so you don't accidentally select it from the Play menu). It would also be nice if a single tap could be set for either Play or Add. Play All could be available in the menu:

Play or Add (depending on default tap behavior)
Play All
Shuffle
Play (with Play Doctor)
Add (as next to play)

One thing that bothers me is that if I search for an album and want to see which songs are in. How? Long / short press displays the same window. (Play, add, shuffle, Add, Play (Doctor) not "Show files" that I would like to see as an option.

If I go through the Audio - Artist (or other items) and long press: Show Files
But not via search

FYI there are two ways to clear the playlist , by searching and playing a Track rather than a group like album or artist.. (which seems to answer OPs requirement maybe?)
The other is by forcing a reconnect by menu , mode and just reselect the server
