Maybe (likely) I am missing something....running the latest version 19.0.134.

Using Gizmo as remote......

When I select options to start up MC in Display view mode, initially only the MC play button is shown. Then when playing a file only cover art of the first track played is displayed on a white background, with the message "The display for this zone is owned by a different window." shown at the bottom, and the image does not change. EDIT: The cover art is displayed correctly on the Gizmo end, not the server.

If I exit the display then re-enter Display view (Ctrl+3) after playback begins all is displayed correctly on a black background from that point forward, including changing from video to audio.

I would like to start MC and remain in Display view without intervention, using Gizmo remote. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
