import uses cover.jpg, quick find uses folder.jpg
« on: June 01, 2014, 03:26:48 pm »

Many of my music directories contain both cover.jpg and folder.jpg.

How can MC 19 be forced to use folder.jpg as audio cover art during import? It uses cover.jpg instead of folder.jpg.

And why does quick find (context menu -> "Quick Find in File / Cover Art Directory") do the opposite, using folder.jpg instead of cover.jpg?

Thanks.

It's not tightly defined what will get chosen if there are two artwork files.  Why are there two?  Could you remove one?

Too bad it's not well defined. I've already had to puzzle through the rule that if an image begins with the same number as a single track file, it will be used selected as the artwork.

There are often many images that come with music from different sources. I wouldn't want to throw some away or have to rename them for the sake of the cataloging code.

Thanks.
