title says its all. Is it just to much for a mac book pro? or are there settings I can change. Not sure what info you need just let me know.

There aren't any settings for it, it sounds like your MacBook Pro just doesn't have the CPU power for the task.
 
Running Help → Benchmark and posting your JRMark score will give the developers an idea of how fast your system is, but I'm not sure what the requirements are for DSD encoding.

It's not too much for my MacBook Pro - I resample all my music to 2xDSD, in addition to adding several other DSP options (Parametric Equalizer, Headphone, etc.).

Mine (Late 2011 2.5 GHz i7, 16 GB RAM) runs at about 10-15% utilization during playback.
