~a search option

~a doesn't give any results. (and it takes a long time to process, I have |PLS|6.000 files)
What is it supposed to do ? it says "get full albums" but how does it know when you have a full album of someone or just a few songs ?

Here's a real world example of how it works:

There's a Blues Traveler song I like a bunch called "Trina Magna"

Sometimes I want to listen to the whole album that has that song on it, but I have no idea what the album is called.

So, I do this search: trina ~a

It gives me the whole album instead of just the one song.

Hope that helps.

Where are these search modifiers listed in the help file?

Help is half a light year behind the program.  Should be up to date by release.

Thanks Matt for the very clear answer.

Now I understand the meaning of ~a.

I tested "~a like a bird" and got the full album of Nelly Furtado, Perfect.

Thanks
