Audio delay
« on: June 11, 2014, 12:15:34 pm »

I find that when I select a track to play, there is a delay before the music plays. However, the music begins playing part way into the song due to that delay. In other words, as soon as the song is selected, I see the MCs audio level graphics show me that a song is being played. But I do not get audio until part way into the song. This happens with every song that I select. But this problem is not always present. I am running with a Mac mini with Mavericks, and Apogee Duet 2 as my DAC/amp. I am using version 124 of MC.

It's likely that the Apogee Duet 2 has a delay, so that incoming audio will be silent for the first little while.  You can tell MC to play startup silence to cope with this: Options > Audio > Play silence at startup for hardware synchronization.
