video feature request
« on: June 14, 2014, 02:33:36 am »

Hello everyone,

I use MC to organize my music and videos. For audio I have almost everything I need in JRiver, so it is my Audio Center and Player.

Unfortunately when it comes to Video, I use it to organize my library but I use VLC to play and review my videos. The only reason are the advanced controls that VLC offers, that is loop between two points in the video and slow down the motion so that I can study and better review my videos.

I hope you could integrate these features to MC.

Thanks for considering my needs :)

You can set two points to loop between by typing in a Playback Range.  For example: 0:30-1:45

Where should I type the Playback Range?

Also, would you consider adding the "different speed playing" feature to MC?

Thank you :)

You use the Playback Range tag. Are you familiar with changing tags?

If VideoClock is off in Tools > Options > Video, in DSP Studio you can use Temp & Pitch > Tempo to change playback speed.
