Any possibility for MC to decode 3D Auro?

In my opinion I would probably say not for the foreseeable future as it is a proprietary format and there would be licencing costs for any third party app.

I've been in contact with Galaxy Studios am waiting for a beta Auro3D VST plugin to try in JRiver. I don't think it will be able to decode, but it can upmix 5.1 or 7.1 to higher channel counts using Auro3D's upmixing algorithms. The plugin is designed for creation of Auro3D content, but I want to try it for on-the-fly upmixing.

I don't know all licensing and market issues, but like it could be done for Dolby IIz, why not sell this as an option?

Does it work with JRiver?
Can it decode native Auro 3D content and can it upscale standart 5.1 content?
