I just downloaded and installed v8 beta after first backing up my database and registration. The backup files all have a .jmd extension, but the v8 library manager appears to restore only zip files and doesn't find my .jmd files.

If you can, simply zip one of you old backups (all the .jmd files) to a new-style backup. (just a zip of those files)  Then restore will work.

If that's too much of a hassle, let us know.
