DLNA serves files excluded/deleted from library -- SOLVED
« on: July 10, 2014, 09:54:08 pm »

Hello,
I am using DLNA only occasionally but I am sure it wasn't the case a month ago or so..
I just tried to view images over DLNA using bubbleupnp on an android phone
- it showed images which were previously deleted (excluded) from MC library.
- Tried on a Samsung TV - same story
a bug?
Thanks!

MC is caching the container information for the requested image folder and it looks like Bubble does it's own caching too.
I tested every combination of these and it looks to me like MC isn't updating on the change without a restart of MC.
I'm pretty certain that this used to work, at least for adding new material like podcasts dynamically (not sure I ever tried it with realtime deleted content).

Sorry... Actually, my fault..
MC was serving a wrong library! Somehow, MC switched from my library (in a custom location C:\MCLib) to the default library - the auto-import was enabled, so the default library was, in fact, almost identical to the actual one with the only exception - it included all the excluded files!
That was a weird one..
Thanks!
