playing high res music files on music center 21

i just upgraded to media center 21 and played some high resolution FLAC music files from and external HD. then i switched to Tidal through the USB connection on my DAC without any problem. now i am unable to play the high res music files from the external HD. what do i have to do on JRiver to pay the high res files ?
