Ripping the last track
« on: February 10, 2002, 06:44:29 am »

Using 7.2 and the Lame encoder, I note that I can copy and encode all the tracks on a CD except the last one. When I want to rip the whole CD, then the last track hangs when half copied. I then have to wait until the rest are encoded, cancel and then rip the last track alone. That works okay then.
I am using Win2k and Media Jukebox 7.2.280.

We haven't heard of this one.

However, if you don't mind a few other bugs, you may want to try Media Jukebox 8. (still in beta... available here on Interact)  It added true on-the-fly ripping, which increased speed and may fix your problems.

Take care.
