What about the current convolver in DSP Studio. Works brilliantly for me

No, certainly, that works well for me, too.  It would just be nice to be able to use all DSP changes / modifications / convolution with ANY computer audio program that produces sound.  That's what Dirac does.

+1. decouple the audio DSP engine from the UI, so that it is truly modular & can be used as a virtual sound card in other apps.
