That could be very nice as well. The positives are again obvious and it would be a useful tool. The negatives would be that we would all know how bad our hearing was getting.
This would make a lot of so-so speakers sound much better.

You could have a Check Box that the user can select for each Ch that is in use, then a Configure Button become active for each CH and that then takes you to a screen with all the settings on it - distance, loudness, eq, test, etc etc - repeat for each Ch.
 :o I believe you!  (mostly because I have no idea what this even is but it sounds like it need to be firmly dealt with!)

I know this is an ancient thread, but I laughed and laughed seeing this  ;D
I can relate (though I do have an idea).
I haven't tried MC dsp. So much to relearn!
I have a TacT unit in play anyway, and currently in Bypass mode.
I bought speakers that don't work so well with TacT, but sound great  IMO anyway (Eminent Technology hybrids).
