[REQ] Interface/graphics update ideas

I noticed a few posts scattered around regarding updating the interface. I personally think the interface can definitely use an update, so here are my suggestions.

-The icon is a bit dated. Perhaps it can be made flatter so that it looks more consistent with Windows 7/8.

-I would love a skin that looks just like a standard Windows program, with the standard title bar. All of the skins could use some refinements. Two custom skins that I've been using, that can also serve as inspiration are MetroX and Modern Cards. The latest Spotify app for Windows is pretty sleek too.

-I would love the option to move the play controls to the center or right of the screen.

For skinning purposes, I would love it if there was a way to use the active Windows 8 window color in Media Center.
 
Even if you made a skin which is a perfect fit with the rest of the Windows 8 UI, it would be the wrong color unless you were using the default window color. (blue in Windows 8.0, yellow in 8.1)
