Are there any audio quality upgrades slated for version 20 ?

You cannot really increase the quality of bit perfect audio.

Declipping can help a lot with poorly mastered tracks.

Because Volume Leveling is an unmovable plugin in Media Center, it's not really possible to leave a declipping plugin enabled right now though, since clipping happens in the upper 3dB or so.

At one point Matt seemed interested in this, but I don't know that anything ever came of it.

You have reached the end of the internet.  Nothing more to be achieved.   ;D

Interesting suggestion. Went for a wander and then I wondered, "What would Audacity do?"

There's a bit of mathematics to sort this stuff out:

Then there's getting the right logic to make sure you don't make the problem worse.and actually target the clips...  hmmm ... :-\
