The volume keys should be able to control the system volume when Media Center isn't in focus at least.  This is the behavior of the Windows version.  Thanks for the report!  We'll look into it.

Hi  I am a new user currently working from the latest trial version.  When I try to move tracks across from one view into another, media centre 'closes unexpectedly'  I have tried uninstalling and re installing.  Can you help me to fix this please?

I'm noticing small occasional occurrences of buggy behavior.
For instance just now, the player was playing music just fine but the display (counter, progress bar and track description) were 'stuck', and didn't indicate the next track (the one it was playing, even after the usual 8-10 second delay before the counter, progress bar and track description, kick into 'realtime').

IOW the display was frozen.

After restart all was back to normal.
