Playlist sorting

Within a playlist, if I sort the playlist using one of the columns such as "Album", "Track Number", etc., how can I make the playlist have these changes in order "stick", ie the "Seq" numbers change so that when I export it to a portable device or exit the program, the sorting remains?

Click the 'Update Order' button in the header after you sort.
