Action Window behavior

Hi,
I feel that I not exactly understand the behavior of the Action Window. When I play audio/video and jump to another tab the Action Window sometimes displays art work/video, sometimes it doesn't. What have I missed here?

If that zone is open in a tab, the mini display view cannot be used.
